Crash @ Ariana Museum of Ceramics

Site-specific + sound installation. Dec. 2015

The installation was composed by pieces of broken porcelain inside and outside the highly protected museum's display.
From time to time, different sounds of porcelain crashing were diffused in the museum exhibition spaces.
Inside the display, the broken pieces that were bought from the street market for 1 euro or less assumed a much greater value. The main ideia was to question the value of things, by the way things are shown to us or by the affection we show to things.
*NOTE: During the exhibition period, visitors didn't stop calling security, getting desperate, sneaking out, or thinking their children had something to do with it.
